Sidestep: Spirals

I like seeing the item that sits in the Auckland Museum. It is one of a kind and labelled as a Maori marker stone. It is definitely a marker stone and there is none other like it.

The spiral is an exact copy of one found in Newgrange in England. Of course that could be because the spiral was a universal symbol left over from the spread of man, (a tower of babel type scenario). But the shape of the stone is like no other Maori artifact ever found and the symbol exactly like Newgrange.
