228. : Is there more...?
In the search to find the rumoured skeletons of a tall race that existed here long before Maori were ejected from their homeland for forming a new cult, I get lots of questions.
But before I raise one significant question, I'd like to bring to the fore something that many think out but don't connect. Why are Maori so different from the lands they came from. Why, for example, are Rarotongans so happy and expressive and their dance so free and colourful while Maori are moody and warlike? Rarotonga? Yes, Rarotongans think so. Maori are so different to all the other Pacific peoples in their culture and mannerisms. There are many articles we have put up pointing out those differences. But Maori came from Raiatea primarily. They were kicked out after a group formed a new 'cult'. The Moriori are likely the first to arrive pre-migration canoes and we have suggested before the migration was from groups of cult like fanatics thrown out of Raiatea after a war and that is just a wild theory because they were different from the moment they got here for two reasons, a change in culture within Polynesia by this group and finding a different culture already here in small numbers and adopting some of their habits and styles.
Those that arrived here from Polynesia were actually fleeing war and persecution. Our belief (unproven) is that they belonged to along forgotten cult and were eventually driven out of the islands around Raiatea - (http://tangatawhenua16.wixsite.com/the-first-ones-blog/single-post/2016/03/08/SideStep-Hawaiki-Mecca-of-the-Pacific)
In previous articles we have suggested that Raiatea was a seat for violence and strife and warring tribes were cast out and fled to NZ where they continued in their violent ways. According to Joesting (1984:20-1) the Tahitians had once been known in their homeland as Manahune, a slight dialectical variation of Menehune: "They bore the name with honor until Tahiti was conquered by warriors from Raiatea, when it took on a very different meaning. Manahune therefore became the name for a commoner and a term of derision. In the Hawaiian Islands, seizing the positions of leadership, the Tahitians labeled the original settlers Menehune, a repetition of what the Raiatea's had done to them. The following Tahitian mele is in disdain of the Manahune.
So this cult arrives here, finds another race they do not like and wipe them out. This femur shaft is a verified bone from that other race. It equates to a human female of 7'11" or a male of 8'2" (males being naturally taller).

I'm sometimes asked. With the exploring of three sites since this was discovered, is there more than just this?
The answer is yes.
