Sidestep: Incised Rock
I'm often skeptical of people seeing things in every rock that hasn't got a smooth surface. I might need counceling! But in all seriousness there are people seeing things that often are not there.
Then I have to realize I'm not trained in recognizing ancient patterns, and that is not our task. Below is a photo of a known incised rock in Hawaii. Doesn't look like much does it?
At Matira in the Waikato lies a rock (below) with a similar pattern, I'm not suggesting a cultural similarity, just the fact I have to look closer sometimes to what is regarded as genuine elsewhere in the world.
